Hikers For Palestine

  • Tilden Park Lake Anza Road Berkeley, CA, 94708 United States (map)

Join Hikers for Palestine this Saturday, 4/12/25, at 12pm for a group hike in Tilden Park. We’ll meet at the Lake Anza parking lot (Lake Anza Rd, Berkeley), and then head out on a 3.4-mile loop that includes the Wildcat Gorge, Meadows Canyon, and Curran trails. This is a moderately challenging route that takes about 1.5 to 2 hours to complete, depending on the pace. The trail begins by Lake Anza, descends along Wildcat Creek, climbs up Meadows Canyon, and loops back down to the creek via the Curran Trail. Trails are unpaved, with some steep and rugged sections, and may be muddy from recent rains. Expect a mix of shaded forest paths and open clearings.

Our goal is to bring visibility to the Palestinian cause in public spaces, while recharging through the healing power of community and nature. We ask for a donation of $5–$20 to Prosthetics for Palestine through our fundraiser page on their website: https://prostheticsforpalestine.betterworld.org/campaigns/prosthetics-palestine-house-part/p/hikers-palestine. You may make the donation in advance or scan our QR code. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Bring your keffiyehs and other symbols of Palestine, and don’t forget to bring water, snacks, sunblock, and to wear layers and comfy shoes. We look forward to seeing you there!
