Prosthetics for Palestine Fundraising Event

  • Charcoal House Restaurant 9566 Murray Drive La Mesa, CA, 91942 United States (map)

Join us for a special evening on Sunday, September 14th from 5-9pm at the Charcoal House in La Mesa, California to fundraise for Prosthetics for Palestine.

Prosthetics for Palestine is a 100% volunteer-led initiative created to help ease the suffering of amputees in Gaza and in Palestine, more broadly. We are partnering with Limber Prosthetics to create sustainable, below-the-knee 3d-printed prostheses. During the course of the evening, you will hear from members of the Prosthetics for Palestine team, Limber Prosthetics CEO, Josh Pelz, and we will have entertainment provided by Amer Zahr, a Palestinian comedian and the ShadowBand, a live Arab jazz and funk band, with Naima Shalhoub (keys and vocals), Aaron Kierbel (percussion), Chris Trinidad (keys) and Tarik "Excentrik" Kazaleh (oud, guitar, strings).
